Help with MuseMemo.

Open MuseMemo to the Record tab, optionally start the metronome, and tap the record button. Tap stop when you’re done — your take saves to the library and analysis begins automatically.

Make sure MuseMemo has microphone permission in your device settings. On the record screen, open the audio devices sheet (gear icon) to pick the right input. If a tuner session is active, starting a recording hands the mic to the recorder automatically.

Yes — detected chords are suggestions. Open the lead sheet and rename, move, split, or delete any chord. Lower-confidence chords are flagged so you know where to double-check.

On iOS the app’s storage container can change on reinstall; MuseMemo heals recording paths on load, so reopening the app and the recording usually restores access. Use Settings → Restore if you keep local backups.

In Settings you can enable automatic local backups (daily, weekly, or manual) or back up on demand. Backups are local zip archives; restore brings everything back, healing file paths as needed.

MuseMemo is a one-time $9.99 purchase through the App Store or Google Play — no subscription, nothing to cancel. To move to a new device, use “Restore Purchases” in the app; one App Store purchase covers iPhone, iPad, and Mac, and the Google Play purchase covers Android including ChromeOS.

Not in this version. MuseMemo works in lossless PCM WAV and exports WAV, MIDI, ChordPro, Ultimate Guitar, and plain text.
